Provides senior subject-matter expertise on congressional and interagency affairs for the Inter-American Foundation. Responsibilities include legislative and appropriations analysis, federal reporting, stakeholder engagement, executive communications, congressional inquiries, oversight support, work planning, and leadership briefings. The role requires coordination with Congress, the Department of State, OMB, and other agencies, along with recurring reporting and travel. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, fluent in English and Spanish, and have at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Provides legislative and interagency affairs expertise for the Inter-American Foundation. Responsibilities include congressional reporting, appropriations and legislative analysis, stakeholder engagement, executive briefings, testimony, communications, work planning, oversight support, and advising senior leadership. The role requires extensive Capitol Hill and federal agency experience, bilingual English-Spanish fluency, strong writing and analytical judgment, and U.S. citizenship. Local Washington, DC travel and several annual oversight trips are required, along with NACI screening and PIV credentialing.

Supports the Inter-American Foundation with congressional and interagency affairs, including legislative and appropriations analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement, executive communications, oversight responses, and leadership briefings. The role tracks laws, hearings, regulations, and OMB guidance; drafts testimony, memoranda, talking points, and Q&A materials; manages external-affairs workplans and recurring reports; and coordinates with Congress, State Department, OMB, and other stakeholders. Washington, DC travel and NACI screening are required.
