Leads a production shift in a bakery environment, ensuring product quality, safety, cost efficiency, production schedule attainment, throughput, and on-time shipping. Supervises, coaches, trains, and develops associates while assigning actions, resolving issues, coordinating across departments, and driving continuous improvement. Requires flexibility to work second shift, cover third shift, and work weekends or holidays as operationally needed.

Oversee the bakery’s sanitation department, ensuring cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, facilities, and grounds comply with food safety laws, SQF, HACCP, GMP, AIB, and company standards. Responsibilities include managing sanitation operations, maintaining the SQF food safety manual, verifying sanitation schedules, conducting environmental testing, reporting food safety issues, attending safety meetings, and training sanitation personnel. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Manages the bakery’s Food Safety Quality Assurance, Quality, and Sanitation Departments. Leads SQF food safety management, HACCP and hazard analysis, regulatory and customer compliance, audits, inspections, testing, corrective actions, product holds, sanitation oversight, supplier and contract service providers, and food safety meetings. Ensures compliance with federal, statutory, local, SQF, AIB, cGMP, and customer requirements while supporting safe, quality finished products.
