Develops and implements applications for semiconductor inspection products, supporting new product introductions, characterization, testing, customer-site system deployment, product diagnosis, and hardware/software issue resolution. Conducts customer demonstrations and technical training, documents test results and best practices, prepares technical reports, and transfers product knowledge to field applications teams. Requires understanding of FinFET semiconductor processes, inspection points, and lithography/etch challenges, with annual travel to customer sites and headquarters.

Design and develop high-precision multi-axis motion systems for wafer scanning. Responsibilities include mechanical design, CAD modeling, GD&T drawings, FEA, component selection, prototype testing, system integration, servo tuning, vibration analysis, vendor oversight, and manufacturing transition for semiconductor equipment.

Supports advanced semiconductor inspection equipment at customer manufacturing sites. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains sophisticated electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical systems. Performs installations, upgrades, and modifications; partners with customers to improve performance and reduce downtime; documents service activities; supports service teams; prepares reports and quotations; and collaborates with engineering on recurring issues.
