This full-time, permanent role is on-site in Clifton Park, New York, and includes tuition coverage for the master's program.

The Senior Accountant will perform account reconciliations, support financial reporting, prepare multi-state tax filings, research accounting and tax issues, and maintain compliance with GAAP and regulations. The role also develops policies and procedures, improves finance processes, supports adjacent finance functions, and collaborates with stakeholders to strengthen financial controls. A bachelor’s degree and accounting experience are required; CPA certification and public accounting experience are preferred.

Develop and support build tools and infrastructure for large-scale C++ and Python software lifecycles. Work with software developers, algorithm experts, collaborators, and customers to support software applications across Unix, Linux, macOS, and Windows environments. The role requires Linux CLI experience, CMake-based SDLC support, agile collaboration, and strong communication. It is full-time and on-site in Clifton Park, New York, and requires U.S. citizenship.

Develop robust C++ and Python software that translates computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence research into real-world applications. Collaborate with researchers and engineers, build for Linux, macOS, and Windows, contribute to open-source platforms, and potentially work directly with customers during field tests and demonstrations. Projects may involve 3D reconstruction, object detection, image manipulation detection, motion pattern learning, and anomaly detection.

Lead AI/ML and computer vision R&D programs for government and commercial customers. Manage and mentor engineering and research teams, secure funding, deliver complex software projects, and publish technical results while meeting contractual security requirements.

Lead and manage AI and computer vision projects for U.S. government customers: own project lifecycle, translate research into roadmaps with a PI, lead cross-functional teams, manage technical customer engagement and briefings, contribute to proposal writing and business development, and ensure delivery on schedule, scope, and budget. May participate in live field tests.

Support the contracting lifecycle for government and industry customers: assist with proposal preparation, subcontractor coordination, contract administration and modifications, post-award reporting, recordkeeping in the contract management system, and serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors.

The Machine Learning Engineer will collaborate on AI projects, develop algorithms, optimize solutions, and maintain coding standards within Kitware, contributing to various machine learning tasks.

Collaborate on machine learning projects, perform prototyping, validate algorithms, and troubleshoot code for robustness in AI and computer vision.

Lead design and implementation of large-scale software frameworks for computer vision and ML across embedded, desktop, and cloud environments; maintain and contribute to open-source projects; optimize code; integrate third-party libraries; oversee and review other engineers' code; engage with customers and field tests.
