Teams at Kiowa Tribe

Greets and assists visitors, answers and routes phone calls, provides basic information, maintains a tidy and secure reception area, distributes mail and deliveries, monitors supplies, updates the phone directory, and performs clerical and administrative support duties while delivering professional customer service.

Researches public and private funding sources, prepares and submits grant proposals, compiles and analyzes data, coordinates with program directors, tracks grants and reporting, and manages grant-related administration to secure funding for tribal programs.

Supports the Lead Teacher in operating a Head Start classroom, supervising children, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, implementing lesson plans, promoting school readiness, communicating with families and staff, maintaining classroom materials, and monitoring children during transportation and field trips. The role also requires compliance with Head Start, DHS, and tribal regulations, along with cleaning, lifting, outdoor supervision, and required training and certifications.
