Owns manufacturing processes for complex, close-tolerance aerospace components from drawing review through production release. Develops process plans, tooling, fixtures, work instructions, and inspection requirements; supports CNC setups, first-piece runs, troubleshooting, and production launches. Leads root-cause analysis, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and NPI activities while partnering with Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, programmers, machinists, and engineers. Provides technical guidance and ensures compliance with aerospace quality requirements.

Creates and validates multi-axis CNC milling programs, selects tooling and toolpaths, prepares tooling and setup sheets, and troubleshoots machining issues. Reviews and improves existing programs and processes, including setup times. Requires knowledge of CNC machining, materials, blueprints, GD&T, aerospace manufacturing standards, and outsourced finishing processes. The role operates in a production environment with noise, machinery hazards, cutting fluids, and possible travel between facilities.

Develops and maintains customer demand profiles, production schedules, capacity plans, backlog reviews, and customer communications. Coordinates with manufacturing and department managers to address schedule changes, risks, delays, and supply chain bottlenecks. Produces analytical reports and quality-assures data for decision-making. Manages contractual obligations, OTD liabilities, ASC 606 balances, DPAS priorities, customer portal updates, and mitigation plans while ensuring compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory expectations.
