Create and optimize CNC programs, follow engineering specifications, recommend shop-floor process improvements, train and coach machine operators, liaise with maintenance and engineering, document work, and operate CAD/CAM systems. Support equipment utilization, read blueprints/complex drawings, and use manual woodworking machinery as needed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Builds furniture from wooden frame to finished lounge, manipulates fabrics for appearance, and uses air tools (staple guns, grinders, drivers). Must handle 50+ lb parts, stand/walk on concrete for long shifts, follow assembly processes, ensure quality finishes, and participate in safety and continuous-improvement programs.

Design hospitality furniture from customer specifications: create and revise 3D models and 2D shop drawings, apply DFM/VE, specify materials/hardware, ensure code/ADA compliance, support testing, installation reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
