The Electrical Engineer III designs electrical systems for manufacturing and building projects, including power distribution, motor feeders, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, generators, and UPS systems. Responsibilities include preparing engineering documents and specifications, performing electrical calculations and arc fault analysis, coordinating with project teams and contractors, supporting proposals and business development, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role also requires technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and occasional domestic travel.

Manages controls projects from planning through delivery, including budgets, schedules, subcontractors, reporting, and construction administration. Designs control documents, hardware, installation drawings, sequences, and specifications for HVAC and DDC/PLC systems. Performs system troubleshooting, commissioning support, operational analysis, QA/QC, and field assistance. Mentors junior staff, manages technical personnel, supports proposals and business development, and stays current with control strategies, programming practices, and codes.

Leads HVAC controls engineering for large projects, including hardware design, programming, DDC/PLC implementation, control documentation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system tuning. Manages projects, subcontractors, procurement, client meetings, proposals, and construction administration. Serves as a controls subject matter expert, develops standards, supports business development, and mentors junior engineers. The role may require up to 25% domestic travel and fieldwork at construction sites.
