Leads operating room nursing care during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, effective, patient-centered treatment. Coordinates staffing, admissions, transfers, and discharges; mentors and precepts team members; monitors regulatory and practice standards; promotes accountability, quality improvement, professionalism, and teamwork.

Provides direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients using the nursing process, collaborating with healthcare providers, advocating for patient safety, delegating care, and participating in professional development and quality improvement. Requires Ohio RN licensure, nursing education, BLS certification, and additional certifications based on unit scope.

Provides registered nursing care to cath lab patients using the nursing process, advocates for patient safety, collaborates with healthcare providers, delegates care, and participates in professional development and quality improvement. Requires Ohio RN licensure, nursing education, BLS, and applicable advanced life-support certifications. Cath lab or critical care experience is required.
