Design and implement FPGA code for satellite digital payloads, including DSP algorithms, software-defined radio signal processing, embedded systems, and processor or peripheral interfaces. Responsibilities include developing custom IP, improving DSP and interface reliability, integrating vendor IP cores, supporting communications architecture, and participating in spacecraft design studies. The engineer will work across simulation, synthesis, place and route, timing closure, and hardware testing.

Develop and maintain flight software and embedded Linux systems for spacecraft and ground assets. Responsibilities include building command-and-control, telemetry, fault-recovery, and resource-management software; maintaining Yocto/OpenEmbedded environments; integrating hardware and distributed software interfaces; writing tests and documentation; participating in design and code reviews; and mentoring engineers. The role requires strong C/C++, embedded Linux, aerospace or mission-critical development, and experience with Zynq, Versal, or comparable platforms.

Develop and maintain embedded software for spacecraft and ground systems, including device drivers, kernel modules, hardware interfaces, platform services, and secure communications. Build automated testing and validation tools, participate in architecture and code reviews, troubleshoot performance and reliability issues, and collaborate across software, hardware, and operations teams. The role also provides technical leadership and mentorship while supporting high-reliability satellite operations.
