Design, develop, and maintain high-reliability embedded software for spacecraft and ground systems. Implement secure communications, low-level drivers and kernel components, automated tests and validation tooling, participate in architecture and code reviews, troubleshoot cross-functional issues, and mentor junior engineers to improve system performance and reliability.

Provides cross-program technical authority for flight and ground software, setting architecture, standards, technical direction, and roadmap. Leads complex technical decisions, reviews, verification, security, risk management, and software readiness across programs. Mentors senior technical leaders, drives reuse and platform standardization, represents software engineering to customers and partners, and establishes AI adoption strategies across the organization. The role does not own program delivery, schedules, or line management.

Leads end-to-end realization and delivery of spacecraft hardware products, primarily RF and communications systems such as radios and antennas. Owns product scope, schedule, cost, risk, verification, qualification, production readiness, and delivery. Leads multidisciplinary Integrated Product Teams, coordinates engineering and supplier activities, manages dependencies and issues, supports readiness reviews, and ensures technical and programmatic requirements are met. The role requires strong hardware development expertise, project leadership, engineering judgment, and experience across the product lifecycle.
