Teams at Kentfield and San Francisco Specialty Hospital

Owns the hospital’s infection prevention and control program through CDC/NHSN surveillance, clinical data review, outbreak investigation, public health reporting, policy maintenance, and performance improvement. Educates staff, maintains competency records, supports employee health activities including immunizations, TB testing, exposure response, and N95 fit testing, and partners with leadership to promote safety, regulatory readiness, and continuous improvement.

Fills and dispenses medications, ensures proper drug handling and storage, and advises patients and healthcare professionals on medication therapy. Coordinates with medical and nursing staff to deliver safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical care. Participates in antibiotic stewardship, supports patient safety, supervises pharmacy technicians, and provides leadership when the Pharmacy Director is absent.

Directs nursing unit operations and ensures high-quality patient care around the clock in a long-term acute care hospital. Supervises nursing staff, develops operational systems, manages staffing and scheduling, supports recruitment and training, oversees workflow and budgets, ensures regulatory compliance, and makes independent clinical and operational decisions.
