Conducts field and desk investigations of insurance claims referred to the Special Investigative Unit. Analyzes facts and evidence, conducts or directs Examinations Under Oath, prepares fraud bureau reports, coordinates with law enforcement and insurance-fraud organizations, maintains case files, and makes timely recommendations. The role requires travel throughout Houston and surrounding areas, knowledge of casualty insurance and claims adjustment, investigative expertise, regulatory awareness, communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
