Leads electrical and electronics product development for complex aerospace and defense electromechanical systems. Responsibilities include architecture, analog and digital circuit design, schematics, PCB development, simulation, prototyping, testing, verification, qualification, troubleshooting, manufacturing transition, and production support. Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and customers while managing technical deliverables and project priorities. Requires occasional travel and on-site work in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

Leads the design and development of electromechanical actuators for aerospace and defense applications. Responsibilities include requirements interpretation, proposal support, modeling, gear-train design, stress analysis, CAD development, prototyping, testing, NPI, and production transition. Serves as technical lead for multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinates design reviews, supports customer relationships, and provides technical direction throughout the product lifecycle.

Develops cost estimates for contracts, supports quoting and negotiations, prepares monthly cost accruals and invoicing, and analyzes costing and gross margins. The role gathers data from multiple systems, applies standard and actual cost accounting principles, complies with FAR and DFAR regulations, and supports audits. It requires advanced Excel and ERP experience, strong analytical skills, and on-site work at the Pine Brook, New Jersey facility.
