Lead design, development, and optimization of ETL/ELT data pipelines on Databricks using PySpark and Spark SQL. Implement Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, incremental ingestion (Auto Loader/streaming), Databricks Workflows, and performance tuning. Build reusable accelerators, participate in client technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and resolve production issues while promoting engineering best practices.

Lead technical pre-sales for Databricks engagements: run discovery, design solution architectures, scope and estimate efforts, produce proposals/SOWs, deliver demos/POCs, respond to RFIs/RFPs, maintain reusable pre-sales assets, qualify opportunities with sales, and hand off to delivery teams.

Design and define conceptual, logical and physical data models on Microsoft Fabric. Create reusable Bronze/Silver/Gold datasets, define grain/keys/relationships, produce source-to-target mappings, support Power BI semantic models, document lineage and data quality, and collaborate with engineers, architects, governance and business stakeholders.
