Supports workflow analysis, data collection, time studies, work measurement, standard work, process documentation, capacity planning, line balancing, and layout optimization. Collaborates with production, quality, supply chain, and other teams to implement Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma improvements. Prepares reports and presentations, facilitates continuous improvement events, and communicates lessons learned across facilities.

The Supplier Quality Engineer qualifies and monitors suppliers, conducts audits, source inspections, first article inspections, and capability assessments, and manages supplier corrective actions. The role analyzes defects, drives continuous improvement, ensures ISO/AS9100 compliance, maintains approved supplier systems and performance reports, and resolves technical quality issues with suppliers and internal teams. This fully onsite position requires travel to suppliers up to 25% of the time.

Develops, negotiates, awards, and administers complex subcontracts for specialized, high-value materials and services. Responsibilities include supplier development, bid evaluation, contract changes, purchase order tracking, audit documentation, issue resolution, supplier coordination, and presentations to management. The role may direct and train procurement personnel and requires collaboration with internal departments and national or international suppliers.
