Provides actuarial consulting, technical analysis, project management, plan valuations, design, compliance, risk assessment, and financial management for defined benefit, defined contribution, and retiree medical plans. Communicates project implications and solutions to the Chief Actuary, collaborates with retirement specialists, and progresses toward leadership. The role requires strong pension actuarial expertise, client-focused communication, and strategic contribution to firm operations.

Consults with clients on defined contribution retirement plan design, administration, compliance testing, valuation reports, and government filings. Reviews investment platform and brokerage account valuations, prepares IRS Form 5500 filings, identifies future plan design opportunities, and delegates or reviews analysts’ work. Requires 7+ years of qualified retirement plan consulting experience, defined contribution expertise, analytical ability, and a bachelor’s degree. QKA or QKC credentials are preferred.

Supervise and review employee benefits actuarial projects, including pension funding valuations, government filings, benefit calculations, and nondiscrimination testing. Manage project staff, budgets, and deadlines while leading actuarial analysts. Advise clients on project implications and solutions, deliver presentations, and foster team development. The role requires extensive multiemployer pension consulting experience, strong technical modeling abilities, and familiarity with ProVal.
