Requires basic electrical theory, drafting skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Navisworks Freedom, and Microsoft Office.

Performs advanced electrical, instrumentation, and controls design for midstream oil and gas projects. Develops complex drawings and 3D models, leads electrical design for mid-sized or multiple small projects, reviews junior designers’ work, coordinates with engineering disciplines, and supports standards and design-tool improvements. Requires strong technical communication, project organization, electrical theory, industrial component knowledge, and proficiency with CAD, modeling, and document-review software.

Designs and analyzes structural systems for industrial energy projects, including foundations, steel structures, pipe racks, and pipe supports. Prepares structural models, drawings, reports, shop drawing markups, bid tabulations, and contractor recommendations. Applies ACI, ASCE, IBC, PIP, and related codes. Supports field coordination and RFI responses while collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Requires increasing technical independence, strong communication, organizational skills, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Designs medium- and low-voltage power systems, PLC-based process control and communication systems for industrial energy facilities. Supports project engineering, equipment specifications, calculations, drawing reviews, contractor bidding, construction inspections, commissioning, troubleshooting, client interaction, and project management while working under experienced engineers.

Leads civil and structural engineering efforts for midstream oil and gas facilities, including foundation and steel system design, project estimating, drawing reviews, code compliance, and IFC stamping after peer review. Manages structural scopes, schedules, costs, procurement reviews, client communications, and staff engineer workloads. The role also develops standards, trains engineers, and supports project delivery while traveling to field locations as needed.

Provides entry-level structural engineering support for energy projects, including foundation, steel, pipe rack, and pipe support design and analysis. Uses RISA, MathCAD, LPILE, and Navisworks Freedom to model systems, review drawings, document designs, summarize studies, and support construction activities. The role requires collaboration with experienced engineers, technical communication, bid tracking, field coordination, and occasional travel to project locations.
