Teams at JVS SoCal

Oversee Adult and Dislocated Worker programs at West Los Angeles AJCC, ensure contract compliance and performance, supervise Skills Development and Welcome teams, manage budgets and CalJOBS reporting, build employer and community partnerships, deliver workshops and training pathways, handle hiring and staff development, and complete CWDP certification within specified timeframes. Requires flexible hours, travel, and reliable transportation.

Provide career guidance and case management to help participants reach employment goals: intake/eligibility, assessments, develop individual employment and training plans, job readiness workshops, resume writing, job development and placements, track outcomes in internal and state databases, build agency partnerships, meet contract goals, and occasionally travel to employer and participant sites.

Serve as the customer-facing welcome desk for the West LA Job Center: greet visitors, provide resource center assistance, direct customers to staff, maintain calendar and room reservations, answer phones, support intake/enrollment backups, follow up with participants, collect center traffic data, and improve customer service.
