Leads the transition of US GAAP investment reporting into business-as-usual operations for a UK life insurance business. Responsibilities include preparing investment accounting outputs, performing reconciliations and analyses, validating investment data, maintaining controls and documentation, supporting parallel reporting and testing, resolving reporting issues, and improving systems and processes. The role collaborates across Finance, Investments, Group Reporting, and Change teams.

Manages a specialist data team supporting defined benefit pension scheme implementations, transitions, funding, data validation, analysis, and operational handovers. Responsibilities include allocating work, ensuring quality and deadlines, developing competency frameworks, training and signing off team members, producing management information, resolving data issues, and collaborating with onboarding teams, third-party administrators, trustees, and operational stakeholders.

Provides Level 3 support and administration for private data center and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Maintains Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, JAMF, endpoint management, networking, security, backup, and virtual desktop services. Investigates incidents, monitors platform health, develops automation, supports technology projects and upgrades, maintains documentation, and participates in a 24/7 on-call rota.
