Support laboratory and operational systems in a Linux-based environment. Responsibilities include Linux administration, virtualization, storage management, networking, firewalls, authentication, DNS, shared drives, home directories, desktop support, ticket resolution through JIRA, DISA STIG compliance, and mission-critical communications monitoring. The role also supports containers, cloud environments, PKI/TLS, automation, scripting, application troubleshooting, and hyperconverged infrastructure.

Designs, implements, maintains, upgrades, and administers LAN, CAN, and WAN networks. Provides hands-on hardware support, conducts telecommunications engineering analysis, manages conversions and cutovers, resolves network incidents, translates business needs into network requirements, and supports modernization initiatives. Coordinates with users, operational personnel, and program management while supporting telecommunications infrastructure and compliance.

Develop and maintain infrastructure software for complex research and operational systems. Responsibilities include application integration, software design and implementation, testing, deployment, CI/CD automation, Linux troubleshooting, networking support, technical documentation, customer coordination, and subcontractor oversight. The role requires strong Python and additional programming experience, secure development practices, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
