Lead multiple insurance financial and operations advisory engagements, including interim CFO and Controller support, statutory and GAAP reporting, regulatory filings, reinsurance accounting, system implementations, and transaction support. Manage budgets, staffing, timelines, quality, and client relationships while reviewing complex technical accounting work. Supervise and develop team members, support recruiting, contribute to proposals and business development, and help build FOA’s processes, technology, and service offerings.

Performs insurance STAT and GAAP accounting, financial analysis, regulatory filings, reinsurance support, reconciliations, forecasting, and technical research. Owns smaller client engagements, manages budgets and deadlines, reviews junior staff work, and communicates with clients. Contributes to process improvements, automation, templates, technology adoption, business development, recruiting, and practice building.

Tax intern will gain hands-on public accounting experience working with clients, receive training on industry technology, participate in two weeks of onboarding, and get mentorship and feedback from managers while building technical and soft skills toward CPA eligibility.
