Maintains tooling and tool-room equipment to support production readiness, minimize downtime, and improve product quality. Leads tooling technicians, manages preventive maintenance, ensures safe work practices and procedural compliance, and coordinates with Production and Quality teams. The role also drives 5S, continuous improvement, tooling performance optimization, spare-parts management, and resolution of breakdowns and changeovers involving injection moulding and BMC machines.

Designs automotive plastic products using CATIA, including part and surface modeling, assemblies, drawings, GD&T, and concept generation. Performs DFMEA, material selection, prototyping, reverse engineering, VAVE, and APQP activities. Supports tool, mold, fixture, and gauge design, manufacturing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Requires 3–4 years of experience and a DME or BE qualification.

Designs automotive plastic and injection-molded products using CATIA, including part and surface modeling, assemblies, drawings, prototyping, reverse engineering, and tooling development. Applies GD&T, DFMEA, material selection, VAVE, and APQP. Supports mould, fixture, and gauge design, manufacturing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Requires exposure to automotive OEMs and strong presentation and communication skills.
