Lead controls engineer responsible for plant power and control systems, standards, and optimization. Troubleshoot PLCs/HMIs, validate MES data, support process automation and capital projects, ensure electrical safety and regulatory compliance, develop technician skills, and drive reliability, quality, and cost improvements.

Leads plant education and training systems in a manufacturing environment. Develops training materials, qualification processes, onboarding curricula, skill matrices, technical development programs, and training standards. Coaches trainers and managers, supports Operational Excellence and High-Performance Organization initiatives, administers training grants, coordinates internal and external training, and supports technology training transfer. Requires collaboration across the organization, occasional travel, and flexibility to work extended hours.

Operate and set up bakery manufacturing equipment and production lines, establish production sequences, monitor product runs, inspect quality and quantity, perform basic troubleshooting, and report equipment or production issues. Complete production reports, follow packaging, food safety, GMP, sanitation, and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and maintain a clean manufacturing environment. The role requires standing, walking, equipment operation, teamwork, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
