The Senior Staff Accountant independently manages manufacturing accounting for a production facility, including inventory control, product costing, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and internal controls. The role maintains bills of materials and costing data, investigates inventory and production discrepancies, supports audits and financial reporting, and partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and plant leadership to improve financial accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Supports plant-level human resources operations in a manufacturing environment, including payroll, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, HRIS management, compliance, labor relations, and workplace investigations. Partners with plant leadership and union representatives, administers HR programs, supports English/Spanish translation, and ensures compliance with employment, OSHA, food safety, and quality requirements.
