JJ's Legacy

JJ’s Legacy is a Bakersfield-area nonprofit that honors Jeffrey Johns by educating Kern County residents about organ, eye, and tissue donation and encouraging donor registration. It supports donor and recipient families through compassionate-care services, including medical and transportation assistance, fresh-food boxes, hospital comfort rooms, and community outreach. Its student leadership and public-education initiatives promote organ-donor awareness and connect transplant communities with practical support.
