Provides advanced administrative support, including complex calendar and meeting management, meeting preparation, project coordination, event planning, office management, financial administration, reporting, policy communication, and administrative problem resolution. The role requires independent judgment, strong organizational and communication skills, collaboration across departments, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Provides strategic leadership for Ebola preparedness, infection prevention and control, and continuity of maternal, newborn, and child health services in Rwanda. Oversees readiness assessments, emergency response planning, healthcare worker training, quality improvement, monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and health systems strengthening across national, district, and facility levels.

The IPC MNH Officer will provide on-site mentorship, coaching, training, and technical assistance to healthcare facilities in Rwanda. Responsibilities include implementing and assessing infection prevention and control practices, strengthening triage and isolation procedures, supporting outbreak preparedness and PPE readiness, coordinating with health authorities, analyzing program data, documenting results, and reporting project progress. The officer will also support MNH service continuity, procurement coordination, facility improvement plans, and representation in technical meetings.
