The Assistant Controller oversees accounting accuracy, reconciliations, financial reporting, grant and contract billing, variance analysis, payroll allocations, budgeting, month-end and year-end close, audits, compliance, and cost-rate preparation. The role also trains finance staff and supervises grants finance personnel while supporting the Controller and CFO.

Serves as a strategic HR advisor to program leaders, aligning workforce planning and HR strategies with organizational goals. Provides guidance on employee relations, talent development, performance management, engagement, organizational change, and employment-law compliance. Partners with managers on learning initiatives, analyzes HR metrics, and delivers insights for data-driven decisions while promoting an inclusive workplace culture.
