Provides technical underwriting support for personal lines accounts, including rating policies, preparing quotes and proposals, researching loss information, processing applications and endorsements, and communicating with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams. The role also makes underwriting decisions on referred accounts, gathers required documentation, evaluates loss experience, follows up on outstanding information, and supports marketing and workflow processes.

Develop and maintain insurance compliance programs for wholesale brokerage and Excess & Surplus operations. Monitor state regulations, surplus lines requirements, licensing, market conduct, filings, audits, and operational controls across jurisdictions. Provide regulatory guidance, conduct compliance reviews, assess risks, implement corrective actions, develop training and reporting, and collaborate with brokerage, underwriting, legal, finance, HR, and carrier teams.

Supports commercial insurance underwriting by reviewing, processing, issuing, and uploading policy documents. Assists with binding activities, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, and follow-up on required underwriting documentation. Provides customer service to agents, carriers, and internal teams, answers questions, supports training, and contributes to additional projects. The role requires strong organization, accuracy, communication, time management, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
