Teams at JDC (The Joint)

The Senior Development Officer will represent JDC in the San Francisco Bay Area, managing and expanding a portfolio of individual, foundation, and corporate donors. Responsibilities include identifying prospects, cultivating donor and federation relationships, securing major gifts, planning donor engagement events, delivering briefings, meeting fundraising goals, and collaborating across the organization. The role is remote but requires regular local travel, 8–10 domestic trips, and 1–3 international trips annually.

Develops and facilitates educational programs, trainings, curricula, and learning resources for American Jewish educators and learners. Builds partnerships with educational organizations, represents the Task Force at professional gatherings, and strengthens the field’s understanding of Arab citizens of Israel and Jewish-Arab relations. The role also supports educational strategy, moderates complex conversations, tracks outreach, and collaborates across U.S. and Israeli teams.

Coordinates grant programs and community initiatives, manages applications and reporting, analyzes program data, prepares reports and presentations, supports community and partner engagement, organizes events, and facilitates departmental processes. The role also provides administrative and operational support within a nonprofit humanitarian organization. Hybrid work is available in Kyiv, Odesa, or Dnipro.
