Supports the accounting team with financial statement preparation, general ledger reconciliations, period-end files, management reports, and yield-performance analysis. Collaborates with production and supply chain teams to investigate variances and provide recommendations. This is a temporary, on-site six-month contract in Belleville, Ontario, requiring occasional weekend month-end support.

Operate and oversee the boiler room, ammonia refrigeration plant, and ancillary equipment at a beef-processing facility. Conduct inspections, maintain safe and efficient operations, record plant data, reduce energy consumption, support capital projects, perform diagnostic audits, and coach management teams. The role also provides safety leadership and requires supervisory coordination with maintenance and regulatory stakeholders.

Perform sanitation duties in a meat/seafood processing facility, including hand-scrubbing, hosing, cleaning walls, floors, tables and equipment. Work with chemicals and production machinery, follow PPE and food safety/GMP procedures, complete safety training, and handle physically demanding tasks including lifting and moving sanitation equipment.
