Negotiate carrier rates, manage freight coverage and in-transit shipments, maintain carrier relationships, monitor service execution, use Carrier360 for load tendering and tracking, address service failures, analyze market trends, and support routing guides. The role also mentors and onboards junior team members while working across shifting schedules and high-pressure situations.

Manages relationships with assigned business customers to improve service performance, retention, and growth. Coordinates with internal operations, pricing, and support teams to deliver on-time shipments, accurate billing, capacity, and strong margins. Analyzes customer KPIs, resolves issues, presents performance updates, supports technology adoption, and identifies solutions to improve shipment operations and customer satisfaction.

Generates and converts new business through prospecting, customer meetings, proposals, negotiations, and contract closing. Develops account strategies, coordinates solution implementation, aligns internal teams, and transitions mature accounts to account management. Monitors customer KPIs, revenue quality, contract adherence, payment terms, and future opportunities. Requires local customer travel, occasional overnight travel, a valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
