The Policy Director will lead policy development and legislative engagement, manage advocacy efforts, oversee bill drafting, maintain stakeholder relationships, and execute advocacy plans to support Connecticut's charter schools.

Lead statewide civic engagement and mobilization for ACCS/EmpowerCT, building networks of alumni, families, educators, and partners. Design and execute field and digital campaigns, run candidate training (LEAD the Way), manage campaign operations and compliance between C4 and 501(c)(3) activities, oversee staffing, vendors, budgets, and performance metrics, and coordinate events, trainings, and rapid-response actions across Connecticut.

Lead communications, media strategy, and narrative development to build public support for charter schools. Manage media relations, crisis and rapid-response communications, content creation (press, social, web, multimedia), and campaign messaging. Support legislative advocacy, partner coordination, internal communications, vendor management, and metrics tracking to advance organizational priorities and expand sector influence across Connecticut.

Lead regional community engagement and manage day-to-day operations of the East Hartford center. Develop and run programs across five pillars, build coalitions and partnerships, coordinate advocacy and charter school support, oversee outreach and bilingual communications, manage one staff member, and organize community participation in legislative processes and events.

Manage and implement education-focused projects across Texas, especially rural partnerships. Oversee multiple grants and workstreams, track outcomes, cultivate state and district partnerships, create stakeholder materials, and provide in-person support and coaching to ensure successful implementation and funder compliance.

Manage and execute state- and district-level education initiatives in Indiana, build partnerships, serve as project manager for implementation and design projects, support rural collaboratives and grant-funded work, create stakeholder materials, conduct research, and travel to provide on-the-ground support.
