Operations Interns support manufacturing projects involving process improvement, equipment reliability, production problem-solving, process control data collection, and project engineering. Responsibilities include analyzing productivity, costs, capacity, metrics, and trends; documenting processes; optimizing assembly flow; supporting quality and cost improvements; and applying Lean Manufacturing practices. The role collaborates with plant operations, engineering, quality, continuous improvement, and R&D teams, culminating in a final presentation of project accomplishments.

Supports plant-level continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring KPIs, facilitating Kaizen events, managing action plans, conducting data analysis and root-cause problem solving, and supporting the Jack Link’s Performance System. The intern will help automate performance data collection, track cost savings, train employees on problem-solving tools, and present project accomplishments. The role operates in a manufacturing plant and office environment.

Accounting Intern supporting technical accounting research, Census filings, accrual reviews, general ledger entries, consolidations, financial reporting, accounts payable invoice verification, and ad hoc analyses. The role includes training across accounting functions, project management, networking, and a final internship presentation.
