Teams at Jack Link's Protein Snacks

Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production cost reports (including MUV and labor performance), support BOM setup and costing, perform COGS and inventory analyses, assist month-end close/journal entries and AP postings, conduct fixed asset audits, support audits and SOP development, and collaborate with Finance, Budget & Forecasting teams to ensure accurate cost accounting for manufacturing operations.

Leads food safety authority across ready-to-eat production and packaging operations. Makes decisions on product release, line startup, shutdowns, deviations, sanitation effectiveness, and environmental risks. Establishes hygienic zoning, pre-operational controls, sanitation standards, pathogen prevention, and contamination controls. Partners with microbiology and operations teams to interpret trends, eliminate harborage points, enforce GMP compliance, validate thermal processes, and ensure RTE production is scientifically sound and safe.

Manages food safety and quality controls for raw manufacturing operations, owning HACCP plans, CCP monitoring, supplier risk, process consistency, allergen and ingredient control, sanitation alignment, and raw-to-RTE contamination prevention. Leads pre-cook risk decisions, including product rejection and contamination management, while improving supplier performance, process variability, and downstream operational stability.
