Leads preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, automation integration, and new technology migration into production. Improves downtime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, equipment efficiency, and costs while serving as a machinery and automation subject matter expert. Evaluates suppliers and automation modules, reviews machinery designs, supports PLC and PC-based development, coordinates projects, trains production teams, and provides technical support across sites.

Leads the Manufacturing Engineering function, managing engineers and machine support staff while coordinating daily manufacturing support. Drives continuous improvement, process and test optimization, equipment planning, technical system development, labor forecasting, benchmarking, Lean deployment, and cost, quality, and delivery improvements. The role also oversees team performance, coaching, succession planning, customer support, quoting assistance, and collaboration across engineering, quality, testing, and manufacturing teams.

Monitor and improve manufacturing line quality, efficiency, throughput, and equipment utilization. Perform root cause analysis, process development, cost reduction, soldering profile management, and tooling design or procurement. Coordinate line reconfigurations, equipment installations, support activities, and scheduled maintenance while ensuring process tolerances, solder quality, safety, and company security procedures are maintained.
