You wouldn't know it by reading Wired, but our region as the manufacturing hub of the world gave technology many of its startup resources. Ingrates! In fact, the majority of the U.S.'s major tech developments got their start around these parts, from the great farm tractor and truck companies of the early 20th century, to the transistor, integrated circuit and cellular phone, and many other things. In that spirit, our team of three at Isis3D, based in the Loop, makes 3D printers that just work. Among the midrange competitors, we have the largest build volume, the sturdiest system, and the most repeatable print quality. We are also the leaders in soluble support R&D. With our dual-extruder Isis One, the reprap is all grown up.
