Mechanical Engineering Interns gain hands-on experience producing design work with AutoCAD, supporting multiple projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in mentorship and professional development workshops. Candidates must be enrolled in a two- or four-year mechanical drafting or mechanical engineering program and demonstrate strong communication, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Housing stipends may be available for relocation, and the position supports U.S. visa sponsorship, CPT, and OPT.

Leads the design and delivery of protection and control systems for high-voltage substations. Develops and reviews electrical diagrams, schematics, wiring, panel layouts, equipment lists, and technical reports; ensures compliance with utility, IEEE, and NESC standards. Resolves complex engineering issues, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams and clients, supports project schedules, mentors junior staff, reviews deliverables, and serves as a technical point of contact. Travel is required for site visits, design reviews, and client meetings.

Leads physical design of high-voltage transmission and distribution substations, including layouts, bus work, grounding, conduit, equipment placement, calculations, and design packages. Ensures compliance with utility, client, and regulatory standards while optimizing safety, reliability, constructability, and cost. Coordinates civil, structural, and protection requirements; reviews and approves deliverables; leads client and vendor meetings; mentors junior staff; supports schedules and budgets; and resolves complex technical issues.
