Design and integrate rocket engine hardware from concept through qualification and production. Responsibilities include engine architecture, structural components, fluid routing, subsystem packaging, CAD modeling, manufacturing drawings, interface management, mass and cost optimization, and structural and thermal analysis. The role collaborates with fluid systems, combustion, structures, manufacturing, and testing teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable propulsion hardware.

Design and size fluid systems for rocket test and launch facilities (cryogenic propellant and high-pressure gas systems). Select and procure hardware, produce PFDs/P&IDs and technical documentation, run simulations and analyses, lead design reviews and risk assessments, and support factory/site acceptance, commissioning, and test/launch operations.

Develop guidance, navigation, and control algorithms and verification environments for launch-vehicle autopilots using model-based design. Responsibilities include modeling fluid systems, maintaining hydraulic actuator and control models, supporting launch and test campaign operations, and running Monte Carlo simulations. The role requires mathematical modeling, MATLAB/Simulink, Python data analysis, fluid-system control, flight software development in C/C++, and Git experience.
