Own the mechanical design and product architecture of rugged wearable hardware from concept through volume production. Design enclosures, mechanisms, camera mounts, sealing, thermal systems, and electromechanical integrations for devices used on construction jobsites. Lead optical alignment, tolerance analysis, DFM, tooling qualification, testing, contract manufacturer collaboration, and production ramp while balancing durability, ergonomics, manufacturability, and cost.

Lead global sourcing and supply-chain strategy for mechanical hardware components. Responsibilities include supplier qualification and management, RFQs, negotiations, cost reduction, capacity planning, dual sourcing, risk mitigation, contract management, and scaling production. Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and contract manufacturers to support new product introduction and volume growth. The role requires deep mechanical manufacturing expertise, Asia-based supplier management, PLM proficiency, and significant international supplier travel.

Design and ship product experiences across Ironsite’s customer platform, computer vision interfaces, internal labeling tools, wearable hardware field experience, data visualizations, and design system. Partner with founders, engineering, and construction crews to prototype rapidly, improve trust in AI outputs, and create usable tools for superintendents, craft workers, and annotation teams.
