Teams at IQM Quantum Computers

Own end-to-end delivery of funded quantum technology programs, including milestones, schedules, budgets, evidence reviews, claims, risks, procurement, subcontractors, and academic partnerships. Align contract commitments with IQM’s product roadmap and customer needs while coordinating engineers, physicists, legal, finance, commercial, and executives. Support IP, licensing, follow-on funding, and investment opportunities. The role requires technical depth in hardware-software systems and experience managing externally funded, milestone-based programs.

Build and manage partnerships with suppliers of cryogenic components for quantum computers. Evaluate technical capabilities, manufacturing capacity, supply risks, and alternative sources; negotiate agreements with legal and procurement; and coordinate hardware roadmap contributions to an international grant project involving European and Japanese partners. The role requires strong cryogenic and microwave expertise, supplier management, technical business development, negotiation, and frequent international travel.

Own strategic sourcing categories for quantum-computing materials, including cryomechanics, mechanical components, cryostats, and capital equipment. Source and qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts, manage supplier quality, delivery, cost, and risk, and develop long-term supply-chain strategies. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, production, and project teams while improving sourcing processes, KPIs, ERP systems, and compliance with quality, regulatory, and ESG requirements.
