Own and advance IPRally’s security program, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, risk management, audits, and emerging AI governance. Strengthen application, cloud, infrastructure, and AI security through threat modeling, vulnerability management, secure design, and incident readiness. Support customer security reviews, vendor risk management, regulatory requirements, and internal IT security. Partner closely with engineering and leadership while using automation and AI tools to improve security operations.

Build and operate production data pipelines for patent, research, and company data using Python and Dagster. Model messy real-world data, develop agent evaluation harnesses, implement data quality monitoring, and deliver reliable data to product stores and APIs. Collaborate with product and ML teams, evaluate new data sources, troubleshoot source failures, and define measurable standards for data quality. The role involves working with large, noisy datasets and shaping how AI agents support data processing.

Design and oversee reliable systems connecting product, data, infrastructure, and AI agents. Make architectural decisions, establish boundaries and guardrails, review engineering and agent-produced work, and assess failure modes, security, performance, and cost. The role requires production software engineering experience, strong systems thinking, clear technical communication, and practical use of AI coding agents. Experience with search, machine learning systems, or large datasets is advantageous but not required.
