Teams at IonQ

Leads end-to-end spacecraft programs from development through qualification, production, and delivery. Manages cross-functional engineering teams, schedules, budgets, risks, technical requirements, procurement, subcontractors, and interdependencies across a project portfolio. Provides strategic prioritization, data-driven decision-making, executive communication, and mentorship to program managers and team members. Requires aerospace hardware program expertise and familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum frameworks.

Lead technical programs across their full lifecycle, managing cross-functional teams, portfolios, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication. Translate technical requirements into delivery plans, prioritize initiatives, track progress, and drive data-informed decisions. The role supports component upgrades, design, and spacecraft integration while mentoring project resources and applying waterfall, agile, and scrum methodologies in a fast-paced aerospace and national security environment.

Own end-to-end integration testing for IonQ’s quantum computing system software. Build automated test suites, CI infrastructure, system-level test strategies, performance and electronics-control validation, and test observability. Triage failures to root cause, manage test-system fleet configurations and lifecycle, and promote testability across software, hardware, and physics teams. The role requires strong programming, CI/CD, hardware-software integration, debugging, and collaboration skills.
