Designs and develops parachute systems for advanced reentry vehicles from concept through manufacturing. Responsibilities include defining requirements with customers, supporting parachute and deployment-system testing, and leading parachute-related hardware, mechanisms, and systems. The role requires textile design, sewing, rigging, hardware testing, and project ownership, with opportunities to work on drop tests, CAD, simulation, pyrotechnic systems, and precision airdrop technologies.

Designs, integrates, verifies, and supports mixed-signal, embedded, RF-adjacent, and avionics hardware for aerospace reentry vehicles. Responsibilities include electrical architecture, schematic and PCB development, SDR integration, power and signal integrity design, hardware bring-up, bench debugging, root-cause analysis, documentation, and coordination across mechanical, software, firmware, RF, and systems teams.

Set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills and lathes to produce precise aerospace components and tooling. Read engineering drawings and GD&T specifications, select tooling and fixtures, perform in-process inspections, troubleshoot machining and programming issues, and recommend process improvements. The role requires machining aerospace alloys, maintaining tight tolerances, collaborating with programmers, and supporting a safe, organized shop environment.
