Monitors, configures, and supports a lunar and cislunar data network using relay satellites and Earth ground stations. Executes live configuration changes, responds to network events and customer emergencies, communicates service impacts, identifies recurring issues, and supports reliability improvements. Participates in simulations and operational rehearsals, with additional development work when not supporting live operations. The role requires shift and off-hours support and in-office presence in Houston.

Leads integration and test strategy for flight-critical space and ground communications systems. Owns testing processes, requirements traceability, verification and validation, test automation, and engineering procedures across missions. Mentors test engineers, oversees test plan execution, supports Agile software development, and promotes collaboration and continuous improvement. The role also involves leadership responsibilities, including performance reviews and career development, while ensuring communications systems meet stringent performance, safety, and reliability standards.

Tests and validates communication ground systems for lunar, deep-space, and satellite missions. Responsibilities include defining test environments, testing RF architectures and communication waveforms, performing modeling and simulation, analyzing link performance, troubleshooting issues, verifying standards compliance, and supporting system integration. The role collaborates with systems, software, avionics, GNC, payload, and ground systems engineering teams.
