Janie Liu considers her role a dynamic one, defined by building an independent, successful team. She and her peers work on TrakCare, an electronic medical records solution used in more than 27 countries. Their work involves handling complex web application issues while prioritizing patients’ health, safety and security. “At the heart of it, we help people provide care to other people,” Liu said. Robinson leads the development team that’s in charge of the user interface of Intersystems’ HealthShare product. He and his team tackle a tough challenge: keeping a large enterprise product up to date and relevant by introducing updates and new tech — while keeping the legacy codebase running smoothly. The payoff for the hard work? Robinson’s team ultimately helps doctors and patients make more informed decisions.

Amir Samary has worked at InterSystems for 20 years — and he’s never been bored. Leveraging Kubernetes, Docker and other tools, his team develops solutions for customers that are visible and easy to use. Samary’s favorite current project, the Data Loader Service, enables non-developers to leverage data so that it can be used in critical financial services reports for customers. But for him, the real perk of his job isn’t about the cutting-edge technology. “InterSystems has a good soul,” Samary said. “This company values people.”
