Advocate and represent IYF in inter-governmental and inter-agency forums; prepare briefing notes, talking points, and policy advocacy materials; analyze intergovernmental negotiations; coordinate stakeholder consultations, country-level involvement, and membership processes; build partnerships with government institutions and promote IYF visibility.

Provide regional leadership and oversight for IYF activities across the Americas & Caribbean: guide country teams, shape strategy, support resource mobilization, represent IYF in regional partnerships and events, oversee monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and regional communications, and manage performance of regional representatives.

Provide protocol advice and coordination for senior IYF officials; organize high-level visits, ceremonies and events; manage accreditation, correspondence, databases, awards programmes, budgets, and stakeholder liaison to ensure diplomatic protocol compliance.

Provide confidential executive support to the Secretary-General: manage calendar, communications, meetings, records and travel; prepare briefings, correspondence and minutes; establish tracking and follow-up systems; supervise support staff as needed; and support office operations and strategic initiatives on a voluntary part-time basis.
