International Water Management Institute (IWMI)

The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) is a nonprofit, international research-for-development organization focused on solving water and land-management challenges in developing countries. Working with governments, civil society, and private-sector partners, it develops and scales evidence-based solutions for agricultural water management, ecosystems, climate change, food security, livelihoods, and inclusive economic growth. Headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka, it operates globally as a CGIAR Research Center.
