Leads nursing staff and directs resident care in a dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, implementing care plans, transcribing physician orders, documenting assessments, participating in shift reports, educating support staff, maintaining safety and infection-control standards, and arranging replacement staff during shortages. The role requires an RN or LVN license in good standing, strong clinical assessment and documentation skills, effective communication, organization, and emergency responsiveness.

Coordinates nursing home resident assessments, MDS documentation, care planning, regulatory compliance, interdisciplinary meetings, quality reporting, and timely data submission. Reviews records for accuracy, updates care plans, reports ancillary services, and supports resident-centered care while maintaining compliance with federal and state requirements.

Prepares, portions, and serves meals for residents; assembles trays, delivers meal carts, manages food supplies using FIFO procedures, cleans and sanitizes dishes and equipment, and disposes of refuse according to policy. The role requires reliable attendance, teamwork, efficient task completion, food safety, and a commitment to resident satisfaction.
