Responsibilities include workforce planning, defining technical roles, headhunting scarce talent internationally, designing technical assessments and scoring rubrics, managing the applicant tracking system, and developing the recruitment function. The role requires technical depth across engineering and research disciplines, hiring-manager experience, familiarity with AI safety and security, strong communication, and comfort with ambiguity.
