Produce, assemble, maintain and repair mechanical components using conventional and CNC machine tools. Interpret drawings, perform machining, fitting, fault‑finding, preventative and breakdown maintenance, fabrication, inspection to tolerance, and maintain safe productive work practices.

Operate manual lathes and milling machines to manufacture, modify, assemble, inspect, and repair mechanical components. Read engineering drawings, maintain quality and safety standards, perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance, and work independently or in teams to meet production deadlines.

The role involves overseeing machine shop operations, leading the team, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety. Responsibilities include guiding team members, managing workloads, and monitoring machinery performance.
